Write In at the Pride Center: Prompts, support, motivation, and caffeinated beverages provided! Write with accountability and motivation through word sprints, discussion of writing tools, and the support of other writers. Whether you are participating in the National Novel Writing Month or just looking for a couple hours of writing with no excuses, we welcome writers of all abilities and at all places in their work.
“NaNoWriMo is more than just a writing challenge. NaNoWriMo is an opportunity to step out of your everyday life, open your mind to infinite possibilities, and create new worlds with people
from around the globe. It’s a joyous leap into unexplored worlds, a laboratory of the imagination, a chance to free yourself from the obstacles that prevent you from telling your story. Our stories help us understand ourselves and others, so we need our stories more than ever in this age to bridge connections and heal divides,” says Grant Faulkner, Executive Director of NaNoWriMo.
This event is open and available to all community members who wish to participate. Our Pride Center location is accessible via stairs or elevator. If you have any accessibility questions or concerns, please contact the Pride Center staff at (8020 860-7812 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
