TransForm Peer Connector
What is the Peer Connector?
The core of the TransForm Project is a mentoring network to connect trans, gender non-conforming, and questioning people in every community statewide. Our vision is that anyone, anywhere in Vermont, will be able to find a supportive peer close to home.
TransForm mentors are transgender community members with a wide range of identities, ages, and life experiences, who live throughout Vermont. They've been through the process of coming out and transitioning, and they've received special training in peer support skills, so they can provide one-on-one support and help navigate local resources.
We are currently recruiting and training our first cohort of mentors, and will start to match mentors with mentees in summer 2017.
