The goal of the class is going over the basics of creative writing and how to use parts of craft to tell the stories important to us. From constructing characters and plot to choosing a point of view and crafting dialogue, this will give writers of any level the tools to start their stories and then polish their writing. Workshopping student writing as well as reading examples from works with LGBTQIAP+ characters and/or from LGBTQIAP+ writers will round out this class and give students the tools to explore and improve their voices and styles.
