1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Pride Center of Vermont (PCVT) - 255 South Champlain Street, Suite 12, Burlington, VT 05401
Free! Donations to PCVT help keep free kink-friendly space open, though!
Comfortable to tie in - kinky themed tshirts, collars, etc, are ok.
The Innovative Fiber Arts group was started in 2011 by the VASE Directors because people who attend rope classes ALWAYS ask for more rope practice opportunities. We invited people we met at events because we hosted practice sessions in people's homes. Thanks to VASE's partnership with PCVT (our fabulous queer community center) the IFA will now meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday every month in a kink-friendly and ADA accessible space and is open to everyone 18+!
Regardless of your level - from "what is rope?" to multiple person suspensions - come on out to a fun, friendly environment to practice, make new friends, share something you enjoy tying, and learn something new to tie.
If you have books or videos on rope bondage, bring them! Sometimes we all pick a tie we want to learn from a book or video, sometimes someone shares something they know well. Sometimes people just riff (free-form tying) because it's fun to get out of the house and practice.
Single or partnered is A-OK, all are welcome and will be included!
IFA, like all VASE events, is open to people of every identity as long as you are 18 or older. This group is handicap accessible. Street parking is free; "Tenant Only" spots okay to use when visiting the Center.
